Amazon announced Tuesday that it plans to hire 125,000 transportation and warehouse jobs across the United States, with some recruits receiving login bonuses of up to $3,000.

Amazon said in a press release that roles will pay an average starting wage of more than $18 an hour, and that some roles pay $22.50 an hour. The minimum wage for a company in the United States is $15 an hour.

You haven’t specified which sites will pay login rewards. Last month, an Amazon warehouse in Delaware began offering $3,000 bonuses to new employees.

It also said that in September alone it will open 100 fulfillment centers, triage centers, delivery stations and airlift centers.

She said Amazon is already recruiting for the jobs.

The plans come a day after Amazon Canada announced it would hire 15,000 new warehouse and distribution employees across the country during the fall. Amazon said these employees will earn between C$17 ($13.40) an hour and C$21.65 ($17) an hour, a total above their current starting wages.

Amazon Canada said it plans to give all full-time and part-time workers, regardless of length of service, up to $2.20 Canadian ($1.74) an additional hour, and that it will pay all employees a $100 bonus if they show evidence of a full vaccination.

Amazon Canada said it has employed more than 25,000 Canadians, and was “proud to create another 15,000 great jobs at a time when they need it most in Canada.”
