Due to the high demand for Product Managers in the Philippines, the Russian company Refocus has made its highly successful digital marketing course available to interested Filipinos.
Roman Kumar Vyas, CEO of Refocus, said their global online education platform can accommodate those without a background in marketing or IT.
The company shifted its focus from Russia and Europe to Southeast Asia, starting with the Philippines and Indonesia, and the entire Asia Pacific region.
Refocus currently offers one course, Digital Marketing, but plans to launch more than 50 more courses by 2022. Its goal is to teach one million students in the first five years of APAC.
Highly Demanded Jobs
He noted that there are more than 10,000 open digital marketing jobs available to Filipinos, but the skills required are constantly changing. Vyas is also the CEO of the Qmarketing Agency and the Qmarketing Academy, is a co-owner of Coding Invaders and a mentor at 500 Startups.
“The (COVID-19) pandemic has led to the rapid growth of the (digital marketing) business but people have not adapted quickly,” Vyas added.
His company’s digital marketing program will provide current and practical skills for those who want a new, high-demand job as well as marketers and entrepreneurs who are after career advancement and business growth. Its goal is to help individuals with little knowledge and experience in marketing become digital specialists.
Its status as a Facebook Marketing Partner, the long-term experience of its mentors who are simultaneously practicing experts, and the use of real business cases from the best local and global marketing agencies sets Refocus apart from companies offering similar offerings. Enrollees in the Refocus Digital Marketing Program also get unlimited access to course updates, and are provided with all necessary frameworks, checklists, templates, and instructions.
